You can either purchase a membership card at your local Fabricville or Fabricland store or purchase an online membership by clicking HERE.

Your online membership is also valid in all Eastern Canada Fabricville stores. With your online membership you will benefit from all the in-store elite member privileges as well. Your online membership is not valid in Fabricland stores.

If you live in Eastern Canada (Quebec and east of Quebec ) you can pick up your elite card at any Fabricville store by presenting your proof of purchase email confirmation to the cashier.

 If you live in Western Canada (Ontario and west) the online membership is not valid at Fabricland stores at this time. 

There are no cancellations or refunds on your online membership. The membership will have to run its course for one year from date of purchase.

Tab Top:

• Fabric loops (tabs) are visible at the top

• Allows for a softer pleat effect without visible
  hardware

Translucent
(Light Filtering)

Softens and diffuses natural light
while maintaining privacy. Reduces glare without fully darkening the room.

Inside
Mount

An inside mount is installed inside
the window frame, offering a clean, built-in look.

• Light Filtering Blinds:
  
  Allow natural light to enter while maintaining a sleek and minimal
  appearance.
• Blackout Blinds:
  
  Provide room darkening; however, there will always be small gaps on
  either side of the blind, as the fabric is narrower than the
  mechanism.
  
  For best results, we recommend ordering with a cassette or valance
  to conceal the mechanism and help reduce light from the top.

Measuring Guidelines:

• Measure in 3 places for both width and height:
• Width: left, center, right
• Height: top, middle, bottom
• Always use the smallest measurement to ensure a proper fit, as window frames are not
  perfectly square and may shift over time.

Outside
Mount

An outside mount is installed
on the window frame or above it, allowing for greater coverage beyond the
window opening.

• Light Filtering Blinds:
  
  Provide enhanced privacy and better light control by extending beyond the
  frame.
• Blackout Blinds:
  
  This is the best option for maximum light control, making it ideal
  for bedrooms, as it significantly reduces light gaps.

Installation & Sizing Tips:

• Installed on or above the window frame
• The width ordered is the total width of the
  mechanism/cassette, not the fabric.
• To ensure full coverage:
• Add a minimum of 4" to the width
  (especially important for blackout blinds)

For Blackout or Dimout Curtains

To ensure proper light blockage, we recommend the following minimum allowances:

• Width:
  Add at least 4 inches on each side of the window frame
• Height (Top):
  Add a minimum of 4 inches above the window frame
• Length (Bottom):
  Extend at least 6 inches below the window frame

For optimal light control,
increasing these measurements where possible is recommended.

For Decorative Curtains

To achieve a well-framed look:

• Width:
  Add at least 4 inches on each side of the window frame
• Height & Length:
  Based on personal preference and desired style

Permanent Pleat Curtains (Custom
– Travers Rod Only)

If you are ordering custom permanent pleat curtains for a Travers Rod Only:

• Add an additional 4 inches to your final width
  measurement to allow for center overlap when selecting a center split

Heater Clearance Recommendation

If you have a heater located below your window:

• Leave a minimum clearance of 6 inches between
  the heater and the curtains (8 inches recommended where possible)

If this clearance cannot be
achieved, a curtain protector can be installed to help keep curtains away from
electric baseboard heaters.

Light Filtering Curtains

Light filtering curtains allow natural light to pass through while softening
its intensity. They provide daytime privacy while maintaining a bright and airy
atmosphere. Ideal for living spaces where natural light is desired.

Dimout Curtains

Dimout curtains reduce a significant amount of incoming light without
completely darkening the room. They offer enhanced privacy and help control
brightness. Suitable for bedrooms or spaces where a softer, subdued light is
preferred.

Blackout Curtains

Blackout curtains block nearly all incoming light, creating a dark environment.
They provide maximum privacy and can also help with insulation and noise
reduction. Recommended for bedrooms, nurseries, or any space requiring complete
darkness.

We do our best to provide you with one continuous piece of fabric. However, it is not always possible for larger quantities and we may need to fill your order in multiple cuts. In this case, we will fill your order with the longest cuts of fabric based on the available inventory. If you require a single length piece longer than 8 meters, please email us at service@fabricville.com prior to placing an order.

Examples:
• One bolt of vinyl contains 9 meters. If you order more than 9 meters, your order will not be one continuous piece.
• One bolt of Home Decor Fabric - Waterproof Canvas (Skus 22811) contains 10 meters. If you order more than 10 meters, your order will not be one continuous piece.

Currently we can only accept orders for complete meters (1, 2, 3, etc.). The system will not accept decimals or fractions.

We do our best to fulfill your complete order. However sometimes, items may not be available at the time of fulfillment. In this case, we will ship the balance of your order and you will be credited for the missing items including shipping.

All Fabricville stores will honour the Fabricland membership, but the Club Elite discounts will be applied.

When you are ready to check out, choose the Pick up in-store option and select the store nearest you. Items shown as ONLINE ONLY are currently not available for pick up in-store. This service is currently only available in the greater Montreal area.

When will my order be ready for pick up?Your order will be ready for pick up in 3 to 8 business days from the date of purchase. You will be notified by email and must provide your order confirmation and a valid ID when picking up your order.

How long do I have to pick up my order?
You have 14 days from the date of purchase to pick up your order.

Can someone else pick up my order?
Yes, someone else can pick up your order on your behalf, provided they have your order confirmation and their own photo ID.

Can I combine Pick up in-store and ship to my address on the same order? 
Unfortunately, you can only choose one or the other on the same order.

The taxes will be calculated according to your shipping address after you have entered your credit information.

If the city name is more than 32 characters long the billing system won't accept it. This can often cause a problem for Quebec municipalities. Canada Post has an official list with all the accepted abbreviations of extra-long city names. Please check this list to find your city name's official abbreviation.

The high density foam is firmer and will keep its shape longer in comparison to the standard one. The choice depends on the type of upholstery or usage. If you intend to use the foam for seatings we would recommend the high density but if you're creating a headboard or a padded valence the standard foam is perfect.

When an item is out of stock, you can simply click on the bell icon and you will be notified when it is back in stock. You will be notified on the same device where you clicked on the bell icon. This feature is visible on most computers and mobiles with the exception of iPhones and iPads.
